LA LGBT Center

Completed 2019

Los Angeles, CA

This project is a multi-generational facility that unifies many of the LA LGBT Center’s programs which were once housed throughout the city into a larger campus at a single location. The mixed-use program includes 70 transitional housing beds in private rooms and suites as well as 30 homeless beds. In addition, the campus provides over 35,000 SF of office space and community gathering spaces.

The Center’s new Anita May Rosenstein Campus (AMRC) serves as the administrative headquarters for the LGBT Center in addition to providing services and housing for both youth and seniors. The campus includes 100 beds for homeless youth and 25 units of permeant supportive youth housing, as well as a senior center and 99 units of affordable housing for seniors.

This project is truly a multi-generational facility that unifies many of the Center’s programs which were once housed throughout the city into a larger campus at a single location. The AMRC is the largest facility of its kind built by an LGBT organization.

Since 1969 the Los Angeles LGBT Center has cared for, championed, and celebrated LGBT individuals and families in Los Angeles and beyond. Today the Center's nearly 700 employees provide services for more LGBT people than any other organization in the world, offering programs, services, and global advocacy that span four broad categories: Health, Social Services and Housing, Culture and Education, Leadership and Advocacy.
